I came here for the first time.. I heard from a coworker that seafood here is fresh and reasonably priced. I also checked out yelp reviews to see if it was worth trying. The store has some fishy smell when you come in but it's because of their fresh inventory. The store is spacious/organized and they also have some grocery items (sauces, snacks) on the side. The guys were really nice, helpful and patient. I got the sushi grade salmon belly and bluefin tuna. They were so good and fresh! I'll definitely come back here and get some other seafood!

Wow! Who says you can't get REALLY fresh sashimi grade fish in Sacramento? The fish, all of it, is amazing. And yes, you CAN tell the difference between fresh salmon here and that from your local grocery store. They are efficient, even when busy. Here it was the day before Thanksgiving and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Highly recommend!

This is our go to spot for fresh seafood! I'd rather come here than my local grocery store. It's a cute little shop that has everything you need and more at decent prices. They also package everything real good to keep things fresh!

Feeling like DIY sushi night? Don't know where to get fresh fish for your sushi? Look no further and stop by Sunh Fish! This has been our go to spot for Sushi Grade fish. The staff is always helpful and can answer any questions you may have. Parking is street parking. Usually not an issue to get a spot right in front. The inside is nothing fancy. Just a small fish market with awesome seafood. Pro tip, if you get the whole piece of Salmon, they'll knock off a few bucks per lb.

incredible amazing fish quality and attentive services! The store you think they don't have much to sell, but you need to talk them the person who help you and they will get it to where you won't see it! The environment seem empty but make sure you ask them. Very clean space, easy parking, delicious fresh fish! I found my homemade sushi supplier

Came in n to purchase some live crabs. They were on stock and were incredibly fresh. The customer service was excellent. Open to answering any questions and absolutely friendly. The newer store is very open and customer friendly. Parking is street only. It's been easy enough to find a spot. The interior is open and spacious.

Sunh Fish is simply the best seafood market. I no longer live in Sacramento, but when I did, boy did I take full advantage of it. They have the freshest selection of sushi grade fishes, including salmon, ahi tuna, yellowtail, scallops, and uni. Usually, prices range from $12 -20 a pound for standard fishes. Scallops are more like $25 a pound. My husband and I wandered over during a weekend trip to haul back some sashimi home to Fresno. Our haul included all of the above, plus 1/4 lb massage and 1/3 lb of ikura (salmon roe). We also grabbed a bag of sushi rice. Grand total was $60, which is pricy, but comparable to eating out. We made such a delicious meal of it, with enough to spare for a second dinner. The yellowtail is just phenomenal, buttery and delicious. Ahi and salmon are always palate pleasers as well. We can't get sashimi even close to this quality in Fresno, even at restaurants!

I go dumb/ get hyphy/ and thizz at Sunh Fish. I absolutely LOVE this place! Sunh Fish is located on Broadway in-between 13th and 14 St. It is across from Target and is sandwiched between Zanzibar Trading and the Asian Food Center. There is street parking out front, which could be challenging depending on the time of day. However I've never had trouble finding a spot. Once inside the ordering process can be confusing, especially when they're busy. I've seen people order at the lobster tank near the side entrance, in front of the main plexiglass, and by the cashier in the back. I guess it depends on how busy they are and whom is working there. The setup and space here is HUGE and very inviting. I feel most butcheries and fisheries are in cramped, "older" spaces where things get hectic and uncomfortable for customers. Not at Sunh Fish! Even when busy there is a ton of space for customers to walk around and look at seafood options! Most importantly, Sunh Fish has ALL types of fresh seafood! Salmon, sea bass, lobster, crab, shrimp, trout, sushi-grade tuna, and much more. They also sell condiments, knives, soy sauce, and frozen fish for purchase. I've only bought salmon from Sunh Fish, but that will change! I've been eyeing their Sea Bass for forever now... I've sautéed, grilled, and baked their salmon and it always tastes fresh and delicious! Way better than anything you'd get from somewhere trash like the Safeway on S and 19th. And what I enjoy about Sunh Fish is how welcoming, helpful, and accommodating their staff are. They truly live and breathe "fish." They can cut off the skin or 'half' your fish upon request which I love! There's no drama and everything is easy. Sunh Fish is also extremely reasonably priced! My only minor critique of Sunh Fish is I wish they de-scaled their fish skin like other places do. But that's not enough to dock a star, this place is still my GO-TO! V. Miller is my spot for meat (IYKYK) and Sunh Fish is my spot for salmon. Just go and get your seafood on!

The best fish market in town! You know this place is legit, when all of the local sushi chefs in Sac get their fish at Sunh Fish! Live lobsters, oysters, and fish galore. Everything is incredibly fresh. And they will cut your fish as desired (poke cut etc). They also have a freezer and shelves of seafood related supplies (frozen tobiko, nori, rice, etc) And very knowledgeable staff. Pro tip: They will give you a bag of ice to keep your seafood fresh for the ride home!
